Semi Independent Services
S P Homes Ltd provide semi-independent accommodation for young people who are leaving residential care or foster care but are not ready to live completely independently. We also have a wide experience of working with unaccompanied minors. The aim of the service is to provide a safe supportive environment and opportunity for young people to develop the practical skills and emotional stability they will need to make the transition to adulthood and make a success of independent living. A carefully planned programme is delivered by key workers who assess and document the progress made so that the Social Work team and the young person are better able to plan the next move.
Accommodation
S P Homes Ltd have a wide portfolio of properties available for young people. We have houses with shared facilities as well as a wide variety of studio and stand alone flats. All properties come fully equipped to meet the young person's needs including bedding , kitchen utensils and all properties have a washing machine.
Person-Centred Planning
SP Homes provides an individual support plan that gives consideration to all those areas described as “eligible support activities” in the government’s white paper Valuing People and the Supporting People Strategy.
